MODERN THOUGHT X HERITAGE SKILLS
To celebrate the publication of my book, Passementerie', I will be giving a demonstration of braided techniques used in rosette making out of traditional gimp cord and non-traditional materials such as paper cord at The Handweavers Studio, 11am-4.30pm, 22nd February 2025. I will also be bringing with me my collection of antique and archive samples, including a sample of the Buckingham Palace balcony bullion.
In conjunction there be an exhibition of my work from Tuesday 11th February to the end of March showcasing some of my passementerie collections. A rare chance to see my trims and tassels in the flesh and you will also be able to buy the book which will enable you to a go at making your own passementerie.
